Summary

We applied statistical and machine learning techniques for the DonorsChoose.org's Hacking Education Contest. Our results include summary statistics, machine learning models indicating important determinants of project funding, and a visualization proposal. We included a high-level overview of the results along with more formal algorithm outputs whenever possible. We are happy to discuss the results and methodologies with anyone interested in improving education.
